The approach

What you practise.
Why you practise it.
How you teach it.

This training follows The Yoga Institute’s traditional Hatha yoga curriculum. Postures matter. So do breath, philosophy and the way yoga fits into ordinary life.

You’ll study the practice and learn how to communicate it: explaining clearly, working with different learners and giving useful feedback.

If that’s the kind of teaching you want to develop, it’s worth getting to know Sneha.

Your course leader

Learning with Sneha.

Sneha Arora founded Yogihearts in 2017. Her connection with The Yoga Institute in Mumbai began in 2006.

She has taught at the Institute and accompanied its director, Ma Hansaji, on international workshops. Today she is an official affiliate representing the Institute in the UK and UAE.

Alongside Hatha yoga, Sneha’s practice includes Bhakti yoga and Indian devotional music. The tradition is part of her life, as well as her teaching.

How the days fit together

Time together.
Fewer journeys.

6days online

The blend keeps time together in the studio while halving the journeys to Putney.

The full 200-hour course also includes substantial study and course work between those live sessions, including reading, writing and preparation. Before you decide, ask Sneha for the complete timetable and commitment.

A few useful questions

Does “12 days” mean 12 weekends?

No. There are twelve individual live training days, each falling on a Saturday or Sunday: six at Phoenix and six online. Ask Sneha for the dated timetable.

How much study is there between days?

The 200-hour course includes substantial study, practice and assessment outside the twelve live training days, including reading, writing and preparation. Ask Sneha to walk you through the full commitment.

Is my experience right for this course?

Talk with Sneha about your practice and what you want from training. That conversation is more useful than trying to decide from a label such as “beginner” or “advanced”.

The next step

Get to know the person
you’ll be learning with.

Bring your questions about the teaching, your experience, the dates or the cost. A conversation with Sneha can help you decide whether this is your training.
